Core Skill: Stripping Emotional Filler
When analyzing media coverage or public reports, the primary task is to identify and separate emotional storytelling devices from documented events. Emotional phrasing is often deployed to construct conclusions before you can look at the raw data.
By learning to identify Nominalizations (nouns that hide active decision makers) and Presuppositions (unproven claims slipped in quietly), you gain complete control over your own critical thinking.
